Richard is a Solicitor-Advocate with extensive and broad litigation experience. Richard managed his own firm from 1995 -2007 and has worked in housing and property law advising landlords and tenants for many years. He has represented social landlords with a particular emphasis on anti-social behaviour law and providing practical advice, representation and solutions for a wide range of housing management problems. Richard is a former member of the Cardiff Criminal Duty Solicitor Scheme, and was a founder member of the Cardiff County Court duty possession scheme.
He also has experience in civil liberties and civil actions against the police and has since 1994 been a member of the Law Society’s Mental Health Review Tribunal Panel. He was appointed as a legal Chairman to the Residential Property Tribunal for Wales in 2007.
