
Olivia moved to Cardiff from Northern Ireland in 2003 to take up a place at Cardiff University, graduating in Law and Criminology in 2006.
Olivia completed her LPC at Cardiff University in June 2008, joining William Graham Law as a Trainee Solicitor in July 2008.
Olivia qualified in 2010 into the Employment and Defence Regulatory Departments.
The work Olivia primarily deals with is within the criminal and defence regulatory field and is soley defence based. It includes matters before the Magistrates and Crown Courts, defending against prosecutions by the Environment Agency, Health and Safety Executive, Local Authorities and the Crown Prosecution Service. Olivia has acted on behalf of childcare providers when dealing with Ofsted and care home providers when dealing with the Care Quality Commission and Care Standars Tribunal.
Olivia regularly assists clients in professional disciplinary proceedings, including health professionals going before the Health Professions Council, General Optical Council, General Dental Council, General Osteopathic Council and General Medical Council and Councillors when facing the adjudication panels for England and Wales.
Olivia also undertakes work in the Employment department, primarily acting for Claimants. Olivia has worked on a range of cases to date, including breach of contract, unfair dismissal and discrimination claims.
Away from the Office, Olivia enjoys spending time with friends and family and running. Olivia has completed several half marathons in Wales and Northern Ireland in the last year. Olivia is also an avid fan of music and reading, with her collection of both CDs and books continually expanding.
